Better fit, better boot, better skiing

It’s natural when you pull on a pair of ski boots to think, “My toes are cramped. These are too small.” And maybe they are, but it’s just as likely that they’re the right size when you get on the skis.

The problem is, once you get out on the slopes, if your boots are too big, you’ll get that slammed feeling in your shins. That will end the fun pretty quick.

You don’t want to travel all the way to Colorado or Wyoming or Utah for some spring skiing just to end up sitting in the lodge in pain.

Obviously, ski boots have a hard shell. They don’t give much.

But the bigger reason that your toes feel jammed in there is sitting on a bench or standing straight up, isn’t how you ski. Bend your knees and move your weight forward. Feel that? Your toes move back.

And, the liner will shape to your toes to a certain degree. These are just a few of things our trained staff can help you work through.

If you’re having trouble with foot and leg discomfort while you’re skiing, get to our Minnesota Avenue store. Bring your boots. Let’s talk about how we make you comfortable, which will make you a better skier and improve the whole experience.
